Yet more map doodling

hey, guess what?  I was bored, I made a map, mostly unlabeled, even colorized a version of it.

Have at it, creatively commons wise :D

The Known World

I'm currently reading Joe Abercrombie's First Law series (I'm almost to the end of the second book and I'm really enjoying it).

Anywho. . . This map is inspired by the descriptions from the map and the wonderful map by Scubamarco on Deviantart.  This map does NOT represent the world of the First Law, as I said, the map in the link above and the book simply inspired mine.

The background of the map is inspired by the page design for Airship Pirates RPG.

I'm making this one creative commons, just like the maps I did yesterday.

I like what I did on this one.  I may take and plot out a 24" x 36" of it and have our bindery department laminate it and mount it to a board so I can put it on either my office wall or my study wall at home (possibly both)

Map of the Lake Country

Last night, while my wife was watching Dancing with the Stars, I was piddling around in Photoshop and this map came out of the piddle :D

I used one of the hex grids from Adventurer Conquerer King for the overlay and I am also attaching one without a hex grid.

Map of Atlantis

I have been messing around with ideas for settings (imagine that) and started thinking about a slightly alt-history world (about mid 1700's) where the America's were named Atlantis.   This kind of goes in hand with the color alt-Europe Maps I did some time back (I'll most likely do a version of them to go along with this sometime soon unless a squirrel runs across my path and distracts me)
